Assesment of military technical level of combat aircraft for Armed Forces of Ukraine equipment

In the conditions of the state of war in Ukraine and ongoing hostilities, the issue of maintaining and increasing the combat potential of all components of the security and defense sector of the state, in particular strengthening their aviation component, namely the aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, is a pressing issue. The combat aircraft in service with the Ukrainian Air Force are largely outdated, both morally and technically, which significantly limits their combat capabilities in modern conditions of warfare. Expansion of the aviation fleet at the expense of the efficient Western-made aircraft is a key condition for increasing Ukraine's defense capabilities.
The article provides an assessment of the military-technical level (technical level) of combat aircraft and foreign analogues currently available in the aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are potential options for upgrading the fleet of combat aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the aim of developing scientifically based recommendations, to the military-political leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the choice of the best option for receiving multi-purpose fighters from partner countries.
