A methodical approach to the selection of autonomous power supply units for airfield technical support for state aviation flights

In modern conditions, when the Ukrainian people are resisting russian aggression, air support of the troops on the contact line is the basis of the successful actions of the Ukraine Army in general. In the system of application of state aviation, an important role is played by the preparation of the aircraft for flight. Staff expertise is an important aspect, but without a defined list of airfield facilities, airfield technical support for state aviation flights is impossible.
The basis for ensuring the types of training of combat aircraft, especially when they are deployed at non-base airfields, is mobile power units of the APA-5D type [1]. It is known that since 1992, the corresponding fleet of airfield equipment has not been updated. Today, the problematic situation regarding their further exploitation is created by:
exhaustion of resources (terms of service);
damage to airfield infrastructure during missile attacks;
lack of samples of domestic production;
impossibility of purchasing new airfield mobile units, the manufacturer of which is russia.
Therefore, the adoption of a reasoned decision regarding airfield technical support of state aviation flights, especially in the conditions of arming the Ukraine Army with foreign-made aircraft, is relevant and prompts a rethinking and adaptation to the Western system of operating aviation equipment..
The purpose of the article is to develop a methodical approach to the selection of modern autonomous power supply units in the conditions of re-equipment of the combat aviation fleet of the Ukraine Army.
The authors considered the actual scientific and technical task of choosing modern airfield autonomous power supply units to ensure fast and high-quality preparation of state aviation aircraft to perform assigned tasks in the conditions of conducting combat operations from operational and base airfields. An analysis of the characteristics of modern samples of airfield autonomous power supply units of foreign and domestic production was carried out. The order of their selection has been developed. The apparatus of multi-criteria optimization is applied.
