ON POSSIBLE WAYS OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE COMBAT APPLICATION OF UNGUIDED AVIATION MISSILES

Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the state and prospects for the development of unguided air missiles, the main tactical tasks of aviation to destroy ground targets when using unguided air weapons, - the tactics of using aviation. It is shown that in order to increase the accuracy of firing when flying at low altitudes, it is necessary to consider two main areas: improving the control system for launching unguided aerial missiles and modernizing and improving the design of the unguided aerial missiles themselves. The main ways of increasing the effectiveness of the combat use of unguided air missiles through the improvement of on-board targeting and navigation systems and their component devices are presented. It was established that the need to observe the condition of visual contact with the target during aiming narrows the potential possibilities of unguided aircraft missiles. To overcome this obstacle, it is proposed to reproduce an image of a terrain map showing the target point and the calculated point of impact of unguided aircraft missiles on the indicator on the windshield, depending on the position in space and the evolution of the aircraft, which will allow aiming fire from camber at low altitudes with by simultaneously increasing the range of aimed fire.
