Issues of the United States military aviation systems operation according to the requirements of Ukrainian aviation law

Lacking substantial success in ground operations, the russian federation has intensified its strategic air attacks against Ukrainian cities, with a primary focus on critical energy infrastructure. Ukraine employs interceptor unmanned aircraft systems and a significant number of mobile air-defense fire teams; however, Russians continues to execute combined strike operations involving large quantities of cruise and ballistic missiles. One of the key measures to counter such threats is the enhancement of the Ukrainian military aircraft fleet through the introduction of Western-origin military aircraft systems.
This article addresses the operational integration and airworthiness management of U.S. military aircraft systems in accordance with applicable Ukrainian aviation legislation, with the purpose to formulate technically substantiated recommendations for establishing an National Military Type Certificate Holder Organization (MTCHO) responsible for such aircraft systems. Over time, when transferring other type of American equipment to Ukraine, the presence of National Military Type Certificate Holder Organization will expand the country`s defense capabilities, primarily its air component. In further research it has been advised to consider the issue of interaction between the Organization and all interested stakeholders and determine ways of further development of continued airworthiness systems for western-made aircraft
