About the possibility of alkaline batteries with linhium-titanate batteries in reserv and emergency power sources of on-board equipment of stste aviation aircraft

The article considers the current scientific and technical task of replacing alkaline aviation batteries with modern lithium-titanate batteries in backup and emergency power sources of state aviation aircraft. The advantages and disadvantages of using nickel-cadmium batteries in military aircraft are analyzed. The characteristics of alkaline and lithium-titanate batteries are compared. Based on the mathematical apparatus of multi-criteria optimization in combination with the basic principles of systems research, the procedure for selecting an emergency power source for aircraft of state aviation is determined.
The purpose of the article is to change approaches to the selection of new types of batteries that will provide an advantage over existing ones and ensure the maintenance of the proper level of serviceability of state aviation aircraft.
The proposed methodical approach to replacing alkaline batteries with lithium-titanate batteries will ensure high-quality and timely training of aviation equipment and, as a result, the appropriate level of serviceability of state aviation aircraft and their readiness to perform assigned tasks.
The task of choosing an acceptable option of power sources for replacing alkaline storage batteries is solved taking into account the methodological foundations of solving multi-criteria selection problems.
